Sunrise at Bamburgh beach Part1

I went to take some sunrise photos and found myself a bit earlier than expected at my chosen location. Rather than wait for sunrise there I decided to use the extra time and continue further south to Bamburgh castle. I was not disappointed.

Kincardine bridge

Photos of Kincardine bridge. Not the easiest thing taken photos on a bridge with the movement as vehicles move along it. A bit of a damp and dreary day so decided to use some of the photos in black & white format.

The lights in the distants were the rotating strobe light of a tractor, came out well.

Stalactites form under the bridge, they can grow up to 1cm a year. Some were 30cm long.

View from Kincardine bridge at sunrise

After visiting the Kelpies I popped over to Kincardine bridge to catch sunrise. At 1st I thought it was a waste of time but perseverance pays off in the photography game. It took me a while to decide to post these photo up but the more I look at them the more I like them. I kept the photos as dark as I took them, I feel they come across better. The power station is Longannet and the refinery is Grangemouth.
