I had to do a journey up north into the highlands of Scotland and thought it best to pack my camera bag. I left around dawn and returned after dark. Here’s some of the images I caught on route.
I saw these wind turbines from the motorway and as I was early I decided to go find them. I met a farmer who said I could drive down to the turbines. While taking these photos I spotted a van parked next to my car. When I got back to my car I found the gate chained up. Thankfully I didn’t drive my car into the fields. I would have been late for my appointment by a few hours.
While driving through Aberdeen I saw a gentleman with a model tug boat, I turned into the park and went to ask permission to take some photos of the tug boat. Here’s the results. He has 30 years of experience building model boats and ships. Sunset on the way home. Some random field. I like the lines of the cast off wheat.
Remember to pack your bag as the most boring road trip could become very exciting. I was hunting photo opportunities along the road up north and south and it made the time fly past.
