Support your local wild life rescue centres.

Every now and then some of the wild live rescue centres will take some animals to schools or local shopping centres to help raise funds and make the public aware of their existence.

As I was taking my camera shopping this day I was lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time. One of the rescue centres that help to rehabilitate birds of prey was visiting one of the local nurseries. I was able to get within touching distance of most of these birds which is a privilege that doesn’t happen every day. I did put my donation in the tin and gave a big thanks for allowing me to take the photos.

I hope you enjoy them and if you have some rescue centres contact them to find out if they do public days. Maybe if you offer a donation or some charity work (free photos maybe) you could get additional access.

Take your camera shopping.

We have many a shop around our homes that has some interesting options for photos.

I enjoy popping into my local garden centre and seeing what I can find to photograph. Below are photos taken 2 years ago at one of these garden centres.

Next time you are going to your local garden centre pack your camera in and see what photos you take home.
