Road trip

I had to do a journey up north into the highlands of Scotland and thought it best to pack my camera bag. I left around dawn and returned after dark. Here’s some of the images I caught on route.

I saw these wind turbines from the motorway and as I was early I decided to go find them. I met a farmer who said I could drive down to the turbines. While taking these photos I spotted a van parked next to my car. When I got back to my car I found the gate chained up. Thankfully I didn’t drive my car into the fields. I would have been late for my appointment by a few hours.

Here’s the results. He has 30 years of experience building model boats and ships. IMG_6085 IMG_6036 IMG_6108Sunset on the way home.IMG_6037 IMG_6012 Some random field. I like the lines of the cast off wheat. IMG_6238

Remember to pack your bag as the most boring road trip could become very exciting. I was hunting photo opportunities along the road up north and south and it made the time fly past.
